I'm a widow looking for government grants to buy a house, does anyone know the best way to do this?
Written by admin on April 14th, 2009
I am a widow, my husband passed away from cancer and I need the security of my own home. I want to go through the government to get a grant to buy one. Does anyone know what sites to go directly to or where I can start? My entire world has fallen apart and I really need this sense of security of not having to worry about paying rent. I heard that there were special grants for widows, but I don't know where to go to to find them.
I have never heard of a grant for widows. There are so many widows that the tax burden would be horrid.
But, you are welcome to look. The government grants are in a searchable database, grants.gov
I will see if I can find one, just to see where my tax $ may be going.

Sorry I do not have the exact Internet address, but start with something like this :: usgovgrants.org or ( .gov)
Good Luck,
